Mihai Chiriac, MSc, RGN
Advanced Aesthetic Practitioner
Mihai Chiriac is an Advanced Emergency and Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner, fully registered with the UK’s Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). He has over 15 years of experience working across multiple NHS emergency and trauma departments in London. Mihai holds a Master of Science in Advanced Clinical Practice from King’s College London, as well as a Level 7 Master’s qualification in Aesthetics (facial injectables, dermal fillers, and anti‑wrinkle treatments) accredited by the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners.
He has been trained in the latest MD Codes techniques for advanced filler treatments by Allergan’s specialist faculty and has completed the Allergan Clinical Specialist Journey. With more than 10 years of aesthetic experience, Mihai has worked as a trainer at Harley Academy and currently practices aesthetics with several leading UK brands.

Beautiful lip filler
This is a Lip Filler treatment with 0.7ml of Juvaderm Volift. The client had 1ml of hyaluronic acid injected one month prior by another provider. To give the lips the desired shape a combination of different techniques was employed such as tenting, clasic liniar threads and small boluses. The client was very happy with the result.
A beatiful lip filler treatment with cupid's bow enhancement
The Lip Filler treatment is one of the most difficult procedures to carry out. It requires a very deep understanding of how the filler behaves in the tissues and how various techniques will affect the final shape of the lips. Although there is always a risk of bruising and complications with lip filler treatments , these are very much depndent of the expertise of the injector. The use the correct needle size, the precise depth of the injection, the right cobination of different techinques, are all factors affecting the quality of the final result. These pictures have been taken immediately after injection with one ml of high end quality dermal filler.
Facial Rejuvination in the latest MD code style
This is a partial facial rejuvenation carried out in one session.
6ml of HA filler injected in the MD code style (by Mauricio de Maio). This is the latest trend in injectables, fully endorsed and promoted by Allergan, the manufacturer of Juvaderm.
The changes are subtle but each contributing to a rejuvenating outcome.
Facial view:
Blue arrows: restoration of the zygomatic arches (CK1) and facial width. This treatment improve the appearance of the nasolabial folds- green arrow (this is visible on the lateral view-the light blue line).
Green line: subtle improvement in the jowl.
45 angle view.
Pink line: improvement in the OGEE CURVE , restoring the triangle of youthfulness. This is a powerful attractive feature.
Purple arrow: chin height and contour with 2 ml of volux with direct (C2) and indirect (mental crease or C1) treatment.
Lateral view:
Pink arrow: under eye area (CK3 SOOF) treated with half a ml of Volift on each side.
Other areas treated: cheek anterior compartment( CK3 malar) and preauricular area (CK4) both offering a combinations of projection and lift in the mid face.

Technique is everything with lip filler
In lips that have already been injected with filler but fail to maintain that vertical height of the vermillion, the red part, there is one technique that can improve this issue called tenting. This involves injecting small vertical lines in the upper lip that act like little poles holding the vertical asepct of the lip. If executed corectly it only takes a very small amount of filler in order to achieve a beatiful and persistent result.

Frontal view:
Black arrow: increase of the facial width.
Red arrow: the amazing power of fillers to lift when injected in the right compartment, almost mimicking a buccal fat removal.

Red line: ogee curve enhanced
Purple arrow: anterior compartment of the cheek revolumization.
Left lateral view:
Pink arrow: jowl and nasolabial fold improved.
Blue arrow: anterior cheek volume correction.
The intention here is to restore the mid face and the triangle of youthfulness with an indirect positive impact into the lower face.

Full facial rejuvenation in the MD code style

6 ml of HA. Different techniques: needle and cannula.
This is the first stage of midface rejuvenation: cheeks lateral and anterior compartment. Under eye area. Preauricular and nasolabial folds.
Red lines and arrows point to the most obvious changes however the rejuvenation outcome goes beyond that.
I have also carried out the the lower face treatment which I intend to post very soon. Another 6 ml of HA.
